Rockola.app for parties and birthdays
No more fighting over the speaker
Every party has one person with their phone plugged into the sound system and a line waiting for them to hand it over. Rockola.app replaces that with a shared queue: everyone scans the same QR code, searches for their track and sends it. Whoever is hosting can still skip anything that does not fit the night.
- Everyone requests from their phone — nobody touches the cable
- Birthdays, graduations, get-togethers and house parties
- The queue is on screen, so everyone knows what is next
- Works with a DJ and works without one
Why a party runs better this way
The music stops belonging to one person and starts belonging to everyone, without turning into chaos.
Nobody hijacks the sound
No more guest queuing six of their own tracks in a row. Everyone sends theirs and the queue spreads them out.
Everyone can see what is next
The queue is visible on screen, so nobody asks whether theirs already played or sends it three times.
The host still runs the night
Skip, delete and bump from the dashboard. If something kills the mood, it is out of the queue in two taps.
Set up in minutes
A screen with a browser wired into the sound system and the QR code on the table. Nothing to rent.
How it runs at a party
The setup is the same for twenty guests as for two hundred.
Create the account
You get your own address, QR code and dashboard. It runs in a browser — nothing to install on the screen or on anyone's phone.
Wire a screen into the sound
A TV, a laptop or a tablet with a browser. That is where the player screen opens and where the music comes from.
Put the QR code where people can see it
On the table, on the door or on the screen itself. Guests scan it with the phone camera, nothing to install.
Guests send their songs
They search by name and send it to the queue. In Free Mode it costs nothing and there are no codes to hand out.
You keep control
Skip what does not fit, bump what does. When the queue empties, the music carries on by itself.
Party and birthday questions
Does it work for a house party?
Yes. A TV or laptop with a browser wired into the sound system and the QR code in sight is enough. It is the same system a bar runs, set up in a living room.
What about a graduation or a big get-together?
It works, and it shows more there: the more guests, the harder it is for one person to guess what the room wants. The queue answers that without anyone having to ask.
Can I stop the same song repeating?
The queue is on screen, so a repeat is spotted before it plays, and it is deleted from the dashboard in two taps.
What happens when nobody is requesting?
Turn on autoplay and, when the queue runs dry, the music carries on by itself with tracks close to whatever played last. The party does not fall silent.
Do I need to hire a DJ?
No. With a DJ it works as a request board; without one, the queue plays itself on the screen. Both are valid and switching between them takes no extra setup.
