Rockola.app for weddings
The reception dances to what your guests ask for
Most weddings hit the same wall: half the room stays seated because their song never comes on, and nobody is going to walk across the floor to ask the DJ for it. With Rockola.app the QR code is on every table — anyone can search for their track and send it, and the DJ or the couple decides whether it gets in and when.
- A QR code on every table, no app or signup for guests
- The do-not-play list is set before the party starts
- Photos of the couple on the same screen as the music
- Works with a hired DJ and works without one
What changes at a reception
The goal is not a dance floor with music on it. It is a dance floor with people on it.
The tables that never got up, get up
The aunt who dances to exactly one song requests it, waits for it and stands. That is the difference between a half-full floor and a full one.
The big moments stay yours
The first dance and the entrance do not come out of the queue: whoever is running the night cues them. Requests start once the floor opens.
Nothing plays without passing the filter
The do-not-play list goes in before the event. What is on it never reaches the queue, no matter how many times someone requests it.
Photos of the couple, on the same screen
Upload the images from the dashboard and they appear over the video, at the size and in the corner you choose.
Setting it up for a wedding
It gets prepared calmly days ahead, not in a rush on the day.
Create the account
The DJ, the venue or the couple opens it and gets their own address, QR code and dashboard. Nothing to buy.
Write down what must not play
Artists, songs or whole titles. Or the reverse: a closed allow list if the wedding has a defined style.
The QR code goes on the tables
Printed on the centerpiece, the menu or the bar sign. Guests scan it with the camera and they are in.
Guests request their song
They search by name and send it to the queue. In Free Mode it costs no credits and there is nothing to redeem.
Whoever runs the music decides
The DJ or whoever holds the dashboard skips, deletes or bumps whatever it takes to keep the floor alive.
Wedding questions
Does it work if we already hired a DJ?
Yes, and that is the most common case. The DJ still runs the music; Rockola.app tells them what the room is asking for without anyone having to reach the booth to shout a title.
What if we are not hiring a DJ?
It works too. Wire a screen into the sound system, let the queue play and the guests feed it. When the queue empties, autoplay keeps going with music close to whatever played last.
Can we block specific songs?
Yes, set before the wedding from the dashboard: block artists, titles or specific tracks, and anyone who requests one gets a notice on their phone instead of it entering the queue.
Can we put our names on the screen?
Yes. Settings lets you write a fixed on-screen message, upload a logo or image and pick the accent color. You can also upload photos of the couple to show over the video.
Will older guests manage it?
It is scan with the camera and type a song name — nothing to install, no account to create. In practice, whoever does not use it asks someone at their table, and that works too.
